Due to continued development within the finance function, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join a high-performing team and help drive financial insight, reporting and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Your new role As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will play a key role in supporting effective financial management, providing high-quality financial analysis, reporting and business insight to senior stakeholders.

You will lead on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, whilst supporting the ongoing development of reporting tools, systems and methodologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include: Leading the development and enhancement of financial planning, budgeting and reporting processes.

Producing meaningful financial analysis and management information to support strategic decision-making.

Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, including financial modelling and consolidation of departmental submissions.

Maintaining and developing Oracle Fusion Cloud reporting capabilities, including OTBI reporting and system administration activities.

Supporting month-end and year-end processes in collaboration with wider finance teams. Driving continuous improvements across finance systems, processes and documentation.

Managing and monitoring centrally controlled budgets and financial returns.

Supporting statutory and ad-hoc reporting requirements.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial guidance and challenge where required.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial planning, analysis and reporting experience.

You will also demonstrate: Experience within a Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Analyst or Finance Business Partnering environment. Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills. Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting tools such as Power BI.Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience improving financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Public sector experience is desirable but not essential.

Experience of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and OTBI reporting is essential for attracting the top salary band.
