In this Tax Advisory Manager role, you act as a trusted adviser to a diverse client base, delivering strategic corporate/OMB tax guidance and shaping advisory engagements. You will lead and develop the tax team while collaborating with senior leadership to drive client value and departmental growth. Responsibilities
- Deliver corporate/OMB tax advisory support across a varied client portfolio
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and build long-term trusted relationships
- Prepare and review high-quality technical reports and advisory work
- Lead, mentor and develop members of the tax team
- Identify opportunities to provide additional services and support business growth
- Manage workflow, deadlines, WIP and billing across your portfolio
- Support departmental improvements, projects and process development
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Stay updated on tax legislation and advise clients on emerging opportunities and risks
Key requirements
- CTA qualification, equivalent tax qualification, or be qualified by experience
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate/OMB taxation with advisory experience
- Previous experience managing, coaching or mentoring team members
- Experience working within an accountancy practice or professional services environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for clients
