Long-established, family-run firm in the Black Country seeking to recruit a Tax Senior to join their team. Having delivered high-quality tax and accountancy services for many years, you'll benefit from a varied role and will become part of a friendly, supportive and committed team.
As a Tax Senior, you will manage your own portfolio of clients and handle a broad mix of tax compliance and advisory work. You will prepare and submit personal tax returns, trust returns, R185s, residential property returns and P11Ds, while also responding to queries across personal tax, P11Ds, IHT and general tax planning. You will provide advisory support and calculations, including PAYE, NIC and comparisons between limited company and personal tax positions. You will use your excellent communication skills to liaise directly with individuals, trustees and companies, building long-lasting client relationships.
To be considered for this role, you will need at least two years' experience in a tax role within practice, along with strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance. Experience with trusts and accounts preparation would be beneficial. Relevant accountancy and/or tax qualifications would be advantageous, but experience will be key.
