The tax team has evolved significantly and is in a strong position, with continued investment in both growth and internal development. This is an excellent opportunity to join at an exciting stage and play a key role in the continued expansion of the corporate tax offering across the North East. The role will primarily be based in Newcastle, although candidates based in Durham or Teesside can also be considered, provided they are comfortable travelling into the Newcastle office around 1–2 days per week. Your new roleYou'll take responsibility for a portfolio of larger and more complex corporate clients, working closely with senior members of the tax team to deliver high-quality corporate tax advice and develop strong client relationships. What you'll need to succeedYou'll have a strong background in corporate tax, ideally gained within a Big Four, mid-tier or comparable accountancy firm environment. Strong UK corporate tax experienceExperience working with larger, more complex corporate clientsGood technical corporate tax knowledgeConfidence managing client relationships and providing tax adviceExperience gained within a Big Four, mid-tier or similarly complex corporate tax environmentStrong communication and relationship-building skillsRelevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA and/or CTA would be advantageousWhat you'll get in returnThis is an opportunity to join an established but evolving tax team with clear ambitions for further growth.
