One of Northern Ireland's leading Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractors is seeking a MEP Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team. With over 40 years of experience, the company delivers design, installation and commissioning services across healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, residential and industrial sectors throughout Northern Ireland and GB. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within the specialist MEP sector.
As MEP Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Support the commercial management of mechanical and electrical building services projects while working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and project teams.
- Assist with valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement and administration.
- Monitor project costs and commercial performance.
- Assist with the preparation of commercial reports.
- Liaise with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support the successful financial delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Previous experience within a Quantity Surveying role or construction environment.
- Experience within MEP, building services or construction projects desirable.
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
