Your new role
Your new role will commence in the coming weeks as Project Manager on a new industrial facility for a key client in Belfast. As Project Manager, you must have experience of overseeing major commercial building projects. You will be required to work to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality and health safety. As Project Manager, you will be required to oversee planning and manage the performance of external consultants and contractors and work with the design teams to prepare project briefs, detailed specifications, drawings and procurement documents. You will be involved in tender stage and must have experience of NEC4 Option A form of contract. This will initially be a temporary role with potential for permanent employment upon successful project delivery.
What you’ll need to succeed
As a successful Project Manager, you will have proven experience of managing multimillion industrial projects with extensive knowledge of contractual obligations. You will be responsible for providing the vital link between head office and the on-site management teams, offering troubleshooting solutions where needed and making sure all design, programming, technical and financial aspects of this landmark scheme are to schedule. Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills will be key to a successful delivery of the project in a timely manner, to budget and to the highest standard required by the client. You will have knowledge of overseeing industrial building schemes from inception through to completion.
