Our client is a well-established and highly respected off-site Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) fabrication specialist, delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Due to the award of a significant healthcare project, they are seeking an experienced Temporary Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the installation of two steam boilers at a Hospital in Belfast.
Reporting to the Project Management team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical installation works within a live hospital environment.
Managing and coordinating the installation of two steam boilers on site.
Acting as the primary point of contact between the client, project stakeholders and operational teams.
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Managing site documentation, permits, RAMS and all associated project paperwork.
Monitoring progress and reporting against key project milestones.
Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Previous experience working as a Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Supervisor or similar role.
Experience managing mechanical installation projects within commercial, industrial or healthcare settings.
Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven experience managing mechanical installation projects.
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
Knowledge and experience of steam systems and boiler installations.
Competitive salary of £55,000 - £57,000.
