Your new role
An opportunity has arisen in the Facilities Division for the role of Electrician. The Electrician will be responsible for ongoing checks, testing, maintenance and reactive works in accommodations and facilities on site. The successful person will work as part of a wider maintenance team, to complete all works to a safe and satisfactory standard, and will also fulfil the role of the NICEAS Quality Supervisor on site.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to carry out major and minor electrical works, as required.
- Ability to ensure all works are performance in accordance with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good planning and organising skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Successful candidate will require security clearance.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Must hold BS th edition installation qualification, including fourth amendment.
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- Experience of administering various forms of contracts
- Strong knowledge of general building works
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in electrical works
- Clean Driving Licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- ECS/CSCS/CSR card
- EICR testing qualification
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
- Experience in facilities management
- Experience as NICEAC Quality Supervisor (QS)
