Your new role As Collections Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function by managing outstanding receivables and ensuring timely collection of payments in line with agreed terms. You will work closely with finance teams, senior stakeholders, and client-facing professionals to minimise aged debt while maintaining strong professional responsibilities will include: Proactively managing and monitoring outstanding debtor balances Liaising with finance teams and business stakeholders to ensure invoices are followed up promptly Identifying and escalating potential collection issues and payment delays Supporting efforts to minimise aged debt, write-offs, and bad debt exposure Processing approved credit notes, write-downs, and account adjustments Working closely with cash management teams regarding payment allocations Producing regular and ad-hoc collections reports for management and key stakeholders Maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates on collection activity Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting agreed deadlines What you'll need to succeed Previous experience within a collections, credit control, accounts receivable, or similar finance-related position A sound understanding of finance and accounting principles Experience working within a professional services or corporate environment Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word The ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels What you'll get in return Hybrid working arrangement Initially temporary with perm opportunity 35 days annual leave 7% annual bonus Income protection scheme Death in service benefit Opportunity to work with a globally established professional services organisation Exposure to international stakeholders and clients Supportive and collaborative team culture Valuable experience within a high-performing finance function What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
