Due to the implementation of a new business system and ongoing operational developments, an opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrator to join their busy Belfast operation.This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative customer service team within a growing organisation that places a strong emphasis on teamwork, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. The role offers long-term potential, with the opportunity to develop alongside a major business transformation programme.

Your new role
As Business Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting customer operations and sales order processing during the rollout of a new business system. Acting as a central point of contact for customers, you will manage orders from receipt through to fulfilment, ensuring a high standard of service throughout the process.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Issuing order acknowledgements and communicating updates to customers.
  • Coordinating customer orders to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
  • Liaising with internal departments including operations, logistics, stock control, finance and quality teams.
  • Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and issued in a timely manner.
  • Supporting operational planning activities and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Assisting with the transition to a new business system and helping shape future ways of working.
  • Providing administrative support across the wider customer service function as required.

This role will initially support operations linked to another UK and Ireland location before evolving to provide ongoing support to the Belfast depot as system implementation progresses.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within an administration, customer service or sales support environment.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence handling telephone enquiries.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within a busy office environment.
  • A proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to support a varied workload.
  • Good IT skills and confidence in learning new systems.

Experience of SAP is not essential as full training will be provided on the company's bespoke system. Due to the office location, applicants with access to their own transport will be at an advantage.
