A leading high-tech manufacturing organisation in Belfast is seeking a number of Assembly & Test Technicians to join their growing production team. These positions offer immediate starts and the opportunity to work within a precision manufacturing environment, assembling and testing innovative products to the highest quality standards.
Your New Role
As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will be responsible for the precision assembly, inspection and testing of small, delicate components while working from detailed engineering drawings and work instructions. You will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured accurately and meet strict quality requirements. Key duties will include:
Precision assembly of electro-mechanical components
Inspection and testing of finished products
Following detailed work instructions and procedures
Maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy
Recording production and test data as required
Identifying and reporting faults or defects
Supporting continuous improvement activities within the production team
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent)
At least 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Experience in electronics, electro-mechanical or precision engineering manufacturing is desirable
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Good IT skills
The ability to follow technical instructions and quality procedures accurately
