The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

Working hours are full time, Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm. The contract is for 3 months but will be reviewed and potentially extended. Pay rate £52 PAYE or £58 umbrella (no limited companies).

In your role you will:

  • Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related issues.
  • Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Current NMC registration
  • Previous experience in NMP substance misuse role at a Drug Treatment service, Forensic, Prison or other similar background
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
