Your new company requires a Recycling Plant Operator to join their team based in Inverness. 37 hours per week (flexible start times). £16.39 per hour PAYE + overtime available.
As a Recycling Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating a range of heavy plant machinery within a busy waste and recycling environment, including wheeled loading shovels, 360 material handlers/excavators and telehandlers.
You will support day-to-day site operations, including the movement, sorting and processing of materials, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- You must hold a valid CPCS, NPORS, CITB Operators' Certificate or equivalent (SVQ SCQF Level 5).
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy plant.
- Certification for loading shovel and 360/excavator.
- Previous experience in waste, recycling, quarry or similar environment.
- Telehandler ticket is highly desirable.
You'll receive competitive pay of £16.39 per hour (PAYE), working Monday to Friday with flexible start times across site hours of 7am-6pm. There are overtime opportunities available, and the role offers a minimum 3-month contract with strong potential for a permanent contract, all within a supportive team environment.
