A large and complex UK organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the finance team on an interim basis during a critical reporting period. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys operating in a sizeable, multi-entity environment and working closely with senior finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead statutory accounts preparation and year-end reporting activities
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
  • Manage and coordinate external audit processes
  • Deliver high-quality technical accounting support and advice
  • Support improvements to financial reporting processes and controls
  • Build strong relationships across the wider finance function and senior stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • ACA / ACCA qualified accountant
  • Strong statutory accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Proven consolidation experience within larger, complex organisations
  • Confident in managing external audit relationships
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience operating within sizeable corporate, public sector or complex organisational environments
