3-6-month interim assignment
Reports to: Head of Finance
Location: Hybrid - Bath / Remote
Purpose of the role
Provide end-to-end ownership of the finance operations and group reporting. You will keep all systems clean and current, close the ledgers each month, deliver insightful MI packs and maintain robust controls.
Experience:
- 5 + years in a hands-on SME or agency finance role, including full month-end ownership and, ideally, multi-entity consolidation.
- Qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) - or equivalent QBE.
- Intermediate Excel / Google Sheets; confident user of Xero.
- Analytical: Able to interrogate data, spot anomalies and explain variances clearly.
- Clear communicator who can translate numbers for creative non-finance colleagues.
- Exposure to US reporting/tax considerations and multi-currency environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, Power Query, SQL) for reporting efficiencies.
