Based in smart offices, the company operates a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two from home.
Working closely with the MD and Group Finance Director, you will have the opportunity to help transform the finance function, embracing technology, data and innovative solutions to drive world-class performance across the business.
Your new roleThis UK & EMEA Finance Director position is a key role within the senior leadership team, with responsibility for financial stewardship, performance and strategic direction across the EMEA and APAC regions, covering multiple international offices.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role combining financial control, commercial finance, strategic planning and FP&A. You will have the opportunity to develop and expand the FP&A capability, improving the quality of insight and analysis available to senior leadership.
You will lead and develop the finance team, creating a forward-thinking, high-performance culture while partnering closely with commercial, operational and supply chain leaders. A key part of the opportunity will be using technology, data and AI to improve processes, enhance financial insight and enable better business decisions.
Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, gross margin and profitability analysis, working capital management and partnering with commercial teams around sales pipelines and future performance. You will also oversee regional financial reporting, financial controls, statutory accounting, audit, compliance and tax.
What you'll need to succeedYou will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance leader, ideally with experience gained within a manufacturing, logistics, distribution or product-based business.
You will bring strong financial controls and technical accounting experience, combined with the commercial ability to influence strategy and partner effectively with senior leadership.
Importantly, you will be forward-thinking and passionate about how technology, data and AI can transform finance, improve decision-making and deliver better business performance. You will also need to be comfortable operating in a hands-on leadership role within a growing international organisation.
What you'll get in returnA salary of 90,000 to 110,000, plus car, bonus and private medical cover.
