Part Time Management Accountant - Growing Manufacturing Organisation Basildon, Essex
Your new company
Our client is a highly successful specialist UK & International manufacturing and distribution business. Due to strong continued growth and investment in technology, they are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join them on a part-time basis 3 days a week, based at their offices in Basildon, Essex.
Your new role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant with a track record of providing key analysis and insight in a manufacturing environment, who has strong IT skills and enjoys process improvement and adding value in a fast-moving business environment. The Management Accountant will be responsible for the provision of monthly management reporting, financial analysis and business insight to the Managing Director and Board to support commercial decision-making, cost management and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Full month-end process
- Variance analysis with insights
- Cash flow forecasting (short & 12-month)
- KPI reporting and board packs
- Margin, stock & working capital analysis
- VAT & payroll oversight
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience producing full management accounts independently
- Qualified Accountant/Finalist/QBE
- Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (Dynamics 365 desirable)
- Commercially minded with a hands-on approach
- Experience in a growing or owner-managed environment
What you'll get in return
- Salary in the region of £50,000 to £60,000 prorate 3 days a week
- Potential for Flexible and Hybrid working
- 25 days plus bank holiday - prorate
