In this Finance Manager/Financial Controller role, you will lead a growing manufacturing finance function and partner with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions. You’ll own financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cash management, while supporting capital investments and efficiency projects. Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
  • Develop integrated financial forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow) to support planning
  • Manage cash flow, working capital and banking relationships
  • Support funding applications, lender reporting and capex investment proposals
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams on margins, pricing and customer performance
  • Support automation, production improvement and operational efficiency through financial analysis and business cases
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes
  • Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, controls and reporting
  • Develop and coach finance team members to enhance performance

Key requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior finance role
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or operationally focused business
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Experience managing cash flow, working capital and banking relationships
  • Commercial mindset with stakeholder influence across ops and sales
  • Experience supporting investment decisions and capex projects
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar
