A public sector organisation is recruiting for a Demonstrator / Baker with Touring Guide Duties based in Culleybackey. As a Demonstrator / Baker with Tour Guiding responsibilities, you will play a key role in delivering an engaging and memorable visitor experience at a heritage site. This includes delivering live, costumed baking demonstrations using traditional methods, including open-fire cooking.

You will also lead guided tours, sharing historical insights into rural life, heritage, and local traditions, and assist with events, workshops, and heritage craft sessions. This is a part-time role (25 hours per week) and will require flexibility, including weekend working and occasional support across other locations.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A passion for heritage, strong interpersonal skills, and hands-on experience in customer-facing environments.
  • A minimum level of education equivalent to GCSEs (including English and Maths) or relevant experience.
  • Experience engaging with the public, ideally within tourism, hospitality, or heritage settings.
  • Knowledge or interest in rural history, farming life, or cultural heritage.
  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
