Responsibilities

Our client is an established accountancy practice based in Headington, Oxford and we are looking to recruit a hands-on auditor who enjoys the challenge of being personally involved with all aspects of planning, fieldwork and completion. Working alongside the directors, you will be fully responsible for managing your portfolio of SME clients and your role will include:

  1. Leading on a variety of audits, ensuring assignments are completed within budget whilst maintaining our high standards;
  2. Providing training and support to other members of the team;
  3. Preparing statutory financial statements (FRS102) and corporation tax computations;
  4. Maintaining up to date and relevant technical knowledge;
  5. Building and maintaining excellent working relationships within the firm and our client base.

Qualifications

We are seeking a positive and confident individual with a proactive attitude, enquiring mind and demonstrable communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of 5 years audit experience working within a UK practice.
