A firm based in Liverpool are seeking to recruit an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team. This firm is long established in the market and provides a full range of compliance, audit and tax services to their clients. They aim to provide a friendly and personalised service to clients, delivering expert advice tailored to their needs. This is a great opportunity for a candidate seeking a broad experience in accountancy and clients with access to great professional development.
As Audit and Account Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for a mix of account preparation and audit work. Your duties will include accounts preparation for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, limited liability partnerships, pensions, charities, and trusts. You will assist seniors on audits and with complex assignments. You will also prepare VAT returns for complex clients.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous working within practice in accounts and/or audit to a semi-senior capacity. You will need experience preparing accounts for a range of clients and possibly experience within audit. This candidate will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification and be AAT or ACCA Part Qualified. You will need to be driven and hardworking, with the goal of developing your professional career.
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £25,000 and £32,000 dependent on experience. You will have access to hybrid working patterns (3 days office based, 2 from home). You will have access to a full study support scheme and will be encouraged to develop your professional experience. You will have a company wide benefits package including holidays, your birthday off, private medical and pension contributions.
