A well-known local employer is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a new role offering progression. This well-known and established local business is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their organisation and take responsibility for the payroll function along with supporting the Management Accountant with duties. Due to retirement plans, the role offers future progression into the full Management Accounts role in the next couple of years.
Duties initially will be taking full responsibility for the weekly payroll from start to finish, processing accruals, prepayments, journals, expenses and reconciliation work. Analysing and updating monthly reports in Excel and assisting with month end.
