As Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will support the Finance Business Partner in delivering a high-quality finance service across key operational areas. This will include assisting with monthly management accounts, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and providing insightful financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

You will play a key role in analysing financial and operational data, identifying trends and risks, and contributing to effective decision-making. You will also support financial planning processes, contribute to improving systems and reporting, and assist with audit, compliance, and funding-related financial activities. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders will be central to your success in this role.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • To be considered, you will ideally be studying towards a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or AAT) or have at least two years' experience in a finance or analytical role.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or reporting processes.
  • The ability to interpret and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
