We are seeking a driven Assistant Site Manager to join a reputable residential developer delivering a multi‑phase housing scheme. With several phases running concurrently, the project includes properties at groundworks, internal build stages, and final finishes across a varied mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes.
Working closely with the on-site Senior Site Manager and reporting into the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the development and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
- Support coordination of trades, subcontractors, and deliveries
- Monitor build progress and report updates to the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager
- Assist with quality checks, snagging, and ensuring work meets specification
- Maintain accurate site records and support project documentation processes
- Help drive productivity and ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications:
- SMSTS qualification (essential)
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or strong background in residential construction (desired)
- Strong understanding of health & safety and NHBC/regulatory standards
