We are delighted to be working with a dynamic and global organisation committed to excellence in financial management and reporting. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the management accounting team. This role is a temporary to permanent vacancy.
Your new role
The role involves producing monthly accounts for overhead cost centres, assisting in budget and forecast preparation, and managing company-paid credit cards. Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciliation and processing of prepayments, accruals, and standard charges
- Balance sheet and intercompany account reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns and national statistics returns
- Assisting with statutory accounts, tax packs, and PSA submissions
- Managing fixed asset control accounts and capital approval processes
