Job objectives and responsibilities:

  • To collect asset data for the mobilisation of new contracts and current contracts for the Hays or clients CAFM Systems.
  • Deliver high quality customer excellence including:
  • Smart and professional in appearance.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong in building relationships with the Client/On-site Maintenance team.
  • Pride in the quality of work.
  • Able to demonstrate Asset Care product and Hays.
  • To liaise with the Asset collection Project Supervisor daily with feedback and progress reports.
  • Deliver high quality asset collections.
  • To assist contract teams with reviewing the asset collection data.
  • To train and assist self-delivery contracts and support colleagues.
  • Main duties:

    • To support and implement the Asset Care Mobiess assets collection tool.
    • Provide advice in the deployment of the Asset Care Mobiess collection tool and Asset Data including development of operational improvements to drive compliance, productivity, and P&L improvements.
    • Responsible for the delivery of local asset collections, to programme requirements. Including adherence to company policy, and statutory requirements.
    • Highlighting trends and issues, and devise improvement measures as appropriate.
    • To build positive and productive working relationships with contract teams, customers, and 3rd Parties.
    • Lead by example with regards to health and safety, compliance with statutory and contractual legislative requirements.
    • Ensuring that the asset detail is complete and accurate to the Asset process and training. This includes following the project brief and scope.
    • Ensure Asset tags and photographs applied are presented to a high standard viewable for clients.
    • Report daily to the asset care manager and supervisors of project progress and issues.
    • Ensure working data collected is backed up continuously.
    • Utilise on site knowledge and records to enhance the asset data collected.
    • Support colleagues at all times and share knowledge to improve the Asset Care methodology.
    • Document and record detailed observations, include any defects, damages or areas requiring maintenance or repair.
    • Able to analyse on site drawings and O&Ms including BMS systems to ensure the asset collection of the building is fully recorded.
    • Compare and interrogate existing site data and site personnel to ensure accuracy with collected locations and assets.

    Person Specification:

    • HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or 10 years' experience working in the field of Asset Collection/Validation.
    • Be an effective leader and have excellent man management skills.
    • Can demonstrate knowledge of M&E systems for electrical and mechanical.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Practised in Excel/Word.
    • Understanding of asset lifecycle and condition.
    • Good knowledge of all aspects of Health and Safety.
