Your new company
A multi-generational family run property management business based in North Yorkshire requires an experienced asset manager to join their property team. With a mixed portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial units.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be office based apart when travelling to site. You will be part of the team managing the company’s property portfolio. You will manage lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals and other landlord-tenant matters. You will work closely with the team to optimise asset performance, drive value, and ensure the successful development and delivery of an agreed asset management strategy. You will also play a key role in supporting and delivering development projects throughout the portfolio.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need to demonstrate a previous track record of successful asset management of industrial, retail or commercial properties. You will need to be able to drive and be willing to travel to sites a couple of days a week. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both blue chip businesses and smaller boutique business owners is essential to the role. Agile and solution focused are characteristics I would use to describe the successful individual.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will get a salary of circa £60,000 depending on your experience. Mileage is paid at 45p a mile for your first 10,000 miles. Holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays and pension is negotiable.
