We are seeking a job-running architectural technician or architect for the property team of an inner-London local authority. The role is offered on a long-term contract basis, with a daily rate, working Monday to Friday. Architects or Architectural Technicians may be considered for the role. The job is offered on a hybrid basis, with a likely structure of three days at home, one in the office, and one dedicated to site meetings, which will be in South London.
Key duties and requirements are:
- Managing multiple projects, typically minor refurbishments on residential properties.
- Conducting surveys and pre-purchase reports.
- Exercising knowledge of building regulations and standards.
- Administration of JCT contracts.
- Producing building specifications using NBS.
- Site management to project completion.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
