Architect or Technologist

Hays Architecture Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a thriving and design-led architectural studio in Woking, as they look to appoint a Senior Architect or Technologist to join their growing team. With a portfolio that spans bespoke private homes and developer-led residential schemes across Surrey, Hampshire, and Outer London, this studio is known for its thoughtful design and technical excellence. This is a senior-level role, working closely with the studio owner, offering a genuine opportunity to influence projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage residential projects through all RIBA stages
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
• Oversee site progress and ensure design integrity is maintained through to delivery
• Identify and resolve technical and site-based challenges with confidence and clarity
• Contribute to the studio\’s collaborative and detail-oriented design culture

What We\’re Looking For:

• A confident job runner with demonstrable experience in the residential sector
• Strong technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Revit (training can be provided)
• Ability to travel independently to local project sites
