Your new company Hays are working on behalf of a local authority in the West of Scotland who are looking to appoint an Architect or Architectural Technician to their in-house design team on an initial 6 month contract basis. The council operate a hybrid working policy, so you will be expected to work from the office a minimum 2-3 days per week, with the rest of the week able to be spent at home.

Your new role Projects will be varied, but you will largely be acting as contract administrator to support the delivery of a number of non-traditional housing refurbishment projects ranging in value from 5-10M.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience based in the UK
  • Significant job running / contract administration experience, ideally within a local authority environment
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Previous experience using Revit would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • Good technical knowledge of planning
