Architect or Architectural Assistant

Your new company Hays Architecture & Design are working exclusively with an established architectural practice in North Down as they look to add an Architect or experienced Architectural Assistant to their growing team. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit studio offering something different from the larger city-centre environment: interesting projects, real responsibility and the chance to see your work progress from the drawing board through to delivery. Your new role You'll become an integral part of the design team, working across a varied portfolio with particular exposure to residential architecture, from individual properties and renovation work through to significantly larger housing schemes. Depending on experience, you'll contribute across design development, planning, technical information, Building Control and project delivery, with the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects as you progress. What you'll need to succeed You'll be an Architect or Architectural Assistant with previous experience in architectural practice and a strong eye for design. You'll be comfortable producing high-quality drawing and technical information, communicating with clients and consultants, and contributing to projects through multiple work stages. Experience within the Northern Ireland / UK residential market would be particularly useful. Most importantly, they're looking for somebody enthusiastic, personable and ready to become a genuine part of the studio.
