Job Description Senior Infrastructure Architect Job Title: Senior Infrastructure ArchitectContract Duration: (3 months, possible extension to 6 months)Rate: £600 per day (Umbrella)Location: London (5 days on-site) Role Overview: The Senior Infrastructure Architect will design and implement infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. This role involves creating architecture proposals, high and low-level designs, and working closely with various teams to gain project approval. Key Responsibilities: – Define and implement infrastructure standards and best practices. – Create infrastructure designs that meet business needs and align with technology roadmaps. – Ensure third-party solutions meet requirements and strategies. – Analyse current technology to identify and recommend improvements. – Manage capacity planning and infrastructure audits. – Coach and advise technology teams on infrastructure matters. Skills and Experience: – Strong skills in infrastructure architecture across software, infrastructure, and networks. – Experience in designing solutions for Private Cloud, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure), Digital Workplace (O365, Virtual Desktop), and Infrastructure Management. – Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, and project management tools. – Excellent communication and analytical skills. Technical Development Background: Responsible for developing, testing, and releasing technology solutions, including third-party products and bespoke software. Accountabilities include end-to-end solution delivery, rapid prototyping, and third-party supplier assurance.
