A well-established and growing organisation based in the Antrim area is seeking a recently qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where you can build a long-term career and make a real impact.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring robust financial control and delivering accurate and timely reporting. You will play a key role in group reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, while supporting senior leadership with valuable financial insights.
- Preparation of management accounts for multiple entities within strict deadlines
- Balance sheet reviews and identification of financial risks
- Managing banking processes and ensuring compliance with audit and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing statutory returns including VAT (UK & ROI), PAYE, and other submissions
- Driving continuous improvement in reporting, KPIs, and financial processes
- Working closely with credit control to enhance policies and improve operational efficiencies
You will also have responsibility for managing and developing a small team, ensuring high performance and a strong culture of compliance within the finance function.
To be considered, you should be a recently qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant with strong technical ability and a proactive mindset. Previous experience in a management accounting role is essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with accounting systems such as Sage or SAP is desirable.
