Job Overview
The Portfolio Team drives and influences how product strategies come to life.
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developerwith a strong front-end focus to join our team on a contract basis.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building applications using the Angular framework, along with knowledge of modern web development best practices and tools.
While the emphasis is on front-end development, familiarity with backend technologies and a solid understanding of UX/UI design principles are valuable assets.
Responsibilities
Front-End Development
Design, develop, and maintain dynamic Angular applications using components, routing, services, signals and HTTP requests.
Implement reactive programming principles with RxJS to manage asynchronous data streams and state (e.g. NgRx).
Ensure responsive and accessible user interfaces compatible across various devices and browsers.
UX/UI Collaboration
Collaborate with the development of wireframes and mock-ups and translate them into high quality code.
Ensure consistency in design implementation and user experience across the application.
Collaborate with the design and the usability to improve front-end application workflows.
Backend Development (Secondary):
Develop RESTful APIs and web servers using frameworks like Express.js (using Typescript).
Perform basic database modelling and integration with web applications.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong proficiency in Angular (versions 16+), including:
Angular Material
Building components, services, and modules.
Setting up and managing routing.
Integrating with REST APIs and handling HTTP requests.
Expertise in RxJS and reactive programming.
Knowledge of modern front-end tooling (e.g., npm, Angular CLI).
Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
Basic backend development experience (Writing web servers with Express.js or similar
frameworks. Database modelling with Relational or NoSQL databases).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
Knowledge and experience designing user interfaces while considering the overall user
experience (UX) to ensure the application is both functional and user-friendly.
Experience with testing frameworks for UI/UX validation (e.g., Cypress, Playwright or other).
Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
Prior experience developing or working on finance-related software products.
