The Role

  • As HR Business Partner, you will provide hands‑on, day‑to‑day HR support while also contributing to broader improvement initiatives.

Employee Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
  • Ensure HR processes remain compliant, consistent and aligned to best practice.

Employee Relations

  • Lead ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances and performance issues.
  • Coach and support managers to build capability and confidence.

Absence Management

  • Guide managers through the Absence Policy.
  • Coordinate return‑to‑work processes and liaise with Occupational Health.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with hiring managers on attraction and selection.
  • Manage advertising, internal postings and the Employee Referral Scheme.
  • Oversee interview coordination, induction processes and references.

HR Systems

  • Act as the HR system owner for absence, sickness and holiday data.
  • Support employees and managers with system queries.
  • Liaise with the wider group on updates and new process implementations.

Induction

  • Design and coordinate induction programmes to set new starters up for success.

About You

  • Strong employee relations and HR advisory experience.
  • Proven ability to build manager capability in people‑related matters.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Highly organised, proactive and solutions‑focused.
  • Confident user of HR and payroll systems.
