Working alongside the Accounts Director and supported by a wider specialist tax team across the Altrincham and other regional offices, you'll become part of a collaborative environment that provides a high-quality service to a diverse and active client base.
Your new role As a Personal Tax Senior / Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering a high standard of compliance work whilst also supporting a range of advisory and planning projects.
Key responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners and private clients.
Preparing, reviewing and submitting personal tax returns.
Acting as the main point of contact for clients on day-to-day tax matters.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Supporting the delivery of tax planning and advisory work as opportunities arise.
Liaising closely with the Accounts Director and wider tax team to provide an integrated client service.
Ensuring compliance deadlines are met and maintaining the highest levels of client service.
What you'll need to succeed ATT qualified with strong examination results.
CTA qualified or currently studying towards CTA (preferred).
Previous experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients within an accountancy practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax compliance.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and client-focused approach.
The ability to work independently whilst contributing to a wider team environment.
