In your new role as an Administrator, you will work to support a housing team in the Ross-shire / Inverness area. This is a temporary contract, with a period of approximately 3-6 months, with an immediate start on offer.

In your new role, you will provide vital administrative support to a busy housing services team. You will contribute to the smooth handover of properties and lease agreements to new tenants. With some visits out of the office to the handover locations, to check over properties, you will feed back any issues to the team manager. From an administrative point of view, you will:

  • Collate information on SharePoint
  • Create and update Excel spreadsheets to track progress and log information
  • Create and send communication via email and letter format
  • Update lease and tenancy agreements
  • Provide general office admin support

You will also communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any queries.

This role requires you to have strong administration skills as you will be required to juggle a busy workload on multiple IT platforms. A full driving licence is required as some travel to properties will be necessary on occasion. The successful applicant will also be required to hold a Disclosure Scotland, which can be applied for upon successful appointment. The ability to work as part of a team is also very important in this role.

This role offers a competitive rate of pay with the addition of a holiday pay allowance. You will have a contract of approximately 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. This role has a hybrid approach, but you must be based in the Inverness/ Ross-shire area to attend properties and work from the office when required. You will have use of a pool car, or receive a mileage payment if you use your own car.
