Administration Assistant required for Altrincham based company. Immediate start due to business growth.£25-26k Your new company Based in the heart of glorious Altrincham, this reputable and innovative company is seeking an Administration Assistant to join and support the team due to further business growth. Your new role As the Administration Assistant, you will hold a varied role and be tasked to support the office and wider team with their day-to-day duties.
In this varied role, you could be managing project documentation, sending general administration correspondence, diary organisation, liaising with internal and external partners, providing quotes, client invoicing – your day will never be dull or boring With a fantastic close-knit team and reporting to the administration team leader, you will work collaboratively on a daily basis to assist the team and needs of the business, with an array of tasks to ensure day-to-day business function remains productive. Tasks will vary from day to day and week to week, and therefore a hands-on approach to work will be required. Working as a team of 2 administrators your tasks will include: writing business quotes, planning and organising deliveries, typing & compiling business correspondence (letter/email), supporting clients with enquiries by phone and email, requesting purchase orders, processing client invoices, providing costings to clients (must be numerical and good with numbers – having experience of working on Xero would be ideal – however not essential) combined with any other tasks as and when requested.
You will have a positive proactive and reactive attitude to see tasks through to completion and be flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of the business – a true team player Providing that much-needed full administration & basic finance administration support to the team will allow you to demonstrate your excellent organisation. communication and planning skills to be utilised fully and allow for full ownership of tasks. What you'll need to succeed Previous office administration experience is preferred Excellent communication skills – Verbal and written Numerical – good with numbers Accurate keyboard and typing skills Good computer literacy – Able to work on basic Excel/MS Word/Outlook and other packages, proficiency in Xero would be preferred but not essential.
