You'll join a forward-thinking housing provider as the Housing Compliance Coordinator, supporting the delivery of safe, well-managed homes across the organisation. Working closely with contractors, surveyors, housing teams and senior managers, you'll keep compliance activity running smoothly across key areas including gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, lifts, and wider building safety.
Day-to-day, you'll manage compliance data, chase outstanding actions, update asset systems, prepare reports, support audits, liaise with residents, and ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and audit-ready. You'll be a central point of coordination - keeping everyone aligned, informed and compliant.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Compliance knowledge across at least one safety stream (gas, fire, electrical, water, asbestos or similar)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Confidence working with contractors, internal teams and residents
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to chasing actions
- Experience using housing or compliance systems (e.g asset databases, CRM, repairs systems)
