Your new company Hays are delighted to be exclusively partnered with one of our well respected and recognised clients within the Fife area to support in the continued development of their Accounts Payable team. This role will be part of a small, fast paced, collaborative team that are a core part of the wider finance function for a company that are nationally and globally recognised for their quality products made locally. Your new role In your new role, you will be a core member of the Accounts Payable team, supporting with daily high volume raising and posting of purchase ledger invoices; managing payment runs on a weekly basis and posting journals. This role is focused on using bespoke finance software systems in addition to Microsoft Excel to accurately and efficiently process high volumes of data and manage a demanding weekly workload. What you\’ll need to succeed To succeed, you will have recent work experience in a fast paced, dynamic work environment that has required you to apply strong administrative skills; or you will have worked previously within accounts payable and can demonstrate a core understanding and application of high volume purchase ledger invoice processing. You will be someone who can easily adapt to using various online systems and can confidently navigate using Microsoft Excel. This role will suit someone who is looking to progress their career in finance and has an interest in managing a busy workload, meeting strict deadlines. What you\’ll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to 26,000 per annum, securing a full time permanent position that offers hybrid working (on completion of a successful probationary period).
