Temporary Accounts Assistant – Doncaster – PL/AP – Payroll – credit control – 3 months + – Small team
Your new company
Your new company is a small company based in Doncaster, who are seeking the support of a temporary Accounts Assistant for a couple of months. The role will mainly be a ‘hands-on’ approach to the day-to-day transactions within the finance department. Assisting the current team with payroll, purchase and sales ledger, credit control and ad hoc office duties as required.
Your new role
The role will report into the Finance leadership of the company and will provide support with purchase invoices, processing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries, chasing aged debt. There will be an element of input into the month-end journals, accruals and prepayments. This is a small, friendly team who are happy for the help.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be immediately available and have previous experience within an Accounts support / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant role. Ideally, you will have SAGE knowledge, but any major finance systems knowledge is a benefit. An AAT qualification, or working towards it would be useful.
