Permanent Accounts Administration job with a smaller company in Rochdale.
Your new company
A successful manufacturer based in Rochdale that is part of a group of companies.
Your new role
Working alongside the Director, this will prove to be a hands-on, varied job from customer service and administration to day-to-day accounts. Your main duties will be processing accounts payable invoices, resolving queries and reconciling statements, as well as processing customer orders, tracking orders and reviewing stock. The customers you will liaise with predominately via phone calls are larger, well-known retailers who will require quick responses to queries, copy invoices etc. At month end you will also assist with VAT returns, payment runs and any other ad-hoc duties.
What you\’ll need to succeed
A strong track record in varied accounts and customer administration work is essential, as well as working in a small team and company in order to cope with a versatile and challenging role. Excellent communication skills along with IT/Excel will be required, as well as a flexible, can-do attitude.
