Your new role Reporting directly to the COO and managing one member of staff, you will own the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate books, timely reporting and strong internal controls.
You'll ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and accuracy, while partnering closely with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth.
Working with the COO, you will lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to the executive team and ensure compliance with all relevant tax, audit, and financial regulations, leading the annual financial audit.
You will partner with departmental heads to provide financial insight that informs business strategy and operational decisions and manage relationships with external stakeholders, auditors and tax advisors.
What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in a financial management or Controller role, with strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with UK GAAP or IFRS.
Experience in implementing or optimising financial systems would be beneficial.
