Your new company: You will work for an international media advertising and entertainment company, with offices based in the heart of central London.

Your new role: This is a newly created role in the UK, due to a small geographical restructure. You will report to the Head of International Finance and take ownership of the daily accounting operations for the Monaco entity, as well as supporting the wider international remit.

  • Take ownership of Financial Accounting for the Monaco entity, including journals, GL maintenance and daily transactional oversight.
  • Upload of results into Global ERP, ongoing system consolidation, ensuring data integrity between systems.
  • Deliver accurate and technically sound financials and drive financial efficiency.
  • Report on/present weekly international operations trading data.
  • Partnering with the Monaco team, Group and Commercial Finance, plus other stakeholders/cross-functional teams to investigate/resolve queries and streamline processes.
  • Ensure that reporting aligns with IFRS standards and internal controls, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations/standards.
  • Make recommendations on any identified insufficiencies.
  • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits.
  • Ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Ongoing proactive contribution of expertise and insights.

What you'll need to succeed: Recent, relevant experience working in a similar Financial Accountant role. Fluent written and spoken French language skills. A strong academic background and a qualified/finalist Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ACA). Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and financial analysis. Competent system user (Workday advantageous) with intermediate Excel skills. Ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights. You'll be an effective collaborator with a drive to partner effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills with both finance and non-finance personnel. A deadline-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be someone who has interests outside of work - this company genuinely values individuality! What you'll get in return: Flexible working options are available with a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 from home each week. Contracted working hours are 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. However, the company adopts a flexible policy where you can start/finish earlier/later if required.
