Overview
We are looking for a creative individual who is passionate about social media marketing and can attract and engage target audiences across various channels. The Content & Engagement Co-ordinator will support the planning and creation of all social media content, in line with the brand tone of voice. The role requires involvement in all elements of the content planning process, from researching to content creation and optimising paid advertising in order to drive growth and engagement across social media. As part of this role, you will keep up to date with the latest social trends and channels.
Competences / Qualifications
- Digital/Marketing/Social Media experience preferred but not essential
- Experience of creating engaging social content, either professionally or personally
- Knowledge of various Social Media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn
- A passion for staying up to date with the latest social media trends and industry updates
- Experience of writing engaging copy
- A positive working attitude and desire to put forward fresh and new ideas
- Ability to act on own initiative and prioritise workload
- Strong accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Specific Duties
- Work collaboratively within the team to plan and execute social media content in line with the business focuses and campaigns, considering target markets, product highlights and content aesthetics
- Support with the planning of the social media content calendar, proposing trending topics to generate engagement and awareness
- Create, edit and publish content that encourages engagement via Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn and other social channels in line with the brand tone of voice
- Build and optimise large volumes of paid social media advertising accurately and effectively
- Write and edit engaging social media content
- Support the coordination of user generated content
- Proactively monitor and research social media trends and confidently propose new ideas and concepts to enhance the social media strategy
- Build strong working relationships with various business areas to deliver partnership marketing activity and campaigns
- Confident in front of and behind the camera
- Be open to development opportunities to build skills and knowledge in key areas such as video content, influencer marketing and paid advertising
- Analyse results and propose suggestions to implement based on these findings
- Help, support and coach all business divisions with day-to-day social media queries via phone and email
- General incoming and outgoing telephone and administration duties
- Assist in achieving an overall consistent digital strategy
