The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

We are seeking our next Bank Reconciliations clerk. For this role, you will have experience of high volume and complex reconciliations within multiple bank accounts. Your focus will be to ensure all bank accounts, client and office, are reconciled in a timely and accurate manner. You will liaise closely with the wider finance team.

This role involves but is not limited to:

  • Reconcile bank accounts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and resolve all reconciling items within a prompt timeframe.
  • Ensure that any duplicate payment/receipt, or other potential errors or omissions are identified promptly and immediately communicated to the relevant department and personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of all bank transactions made in and out of the company bank accounts in GBP and foreign currencies.
  • Refunding customer funds.
  • Locate, allocate and reconcile customer bank and card payments.
  • Customer receipt payments to in house system.
  • Taking branch calls and email queries to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company service standards.
  • Reporting on banking activity to branches and internal departments.
