This is an exciting opportunity for an ecommerce manager to join Hays Travel. The successful candidate will report into the Digital Manager and will be an integral part of our highly focused Marketing Team as we transform our website and digital presence.

You will be responsible for the strategic planning, delivery and optimisation of Hays Travel websites, app & domain presence. The role will suit someone who is passionate about delivering solutions for objectives to give impact, thrives on a collaborative working environment & has strong stakeholder interaction experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility to develop, maintain and manage website and mobile content for optimal user experience, behaviour & business performance across all Hays Travel domains, apps & domains.
  • Manage & nurture relationships with appropriate agencies, suppliers & key stakeholders across the business.
  • Responsible for the implementation of a web presence strategy and plan to convert potential customers and take ownership of putting the right products in the right place.
  • Responsible for CRO & testing plans to ensure continued performance optimisation utilising industry-leading insight tools.
  • Manage, motivate & develop a team of digital marketing specialists and coordinators.
  • Ensure campaigns and projects are fully supported and launched accurately and on time.
  • Work across functions to support automation & dynamic approaches to content when needed.
  • Daily analysis of web analytics to identify areas of weakness and potential threats/opportunities.
  • Close collaboration with Website Development team to ensure market leading tech solutions & develop a long-term feature roadmap to improve ecommerce performance.
Competencies Required
  • Skilled digital marketing professional with 5+ years extensive experience in web strategy, development, apps, game development.
  • Experience of digital marketing activity across websites, CRO & CX.
  • Experience in the travel industry in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Profound knowledge of digital marketing activity.
  • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal.
  • Marketing, Digital or Business degree or professional marketing is desired.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects in an organised but flexible manner and prioritising when necessary.
  • Well-organised, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Outstanding team player - this role requires high levels of teamwork, working with multiple teams across the organisation.
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
  • A flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills.
