The Duty Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle various tasks related to inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Important Notice: This role is a 12-hour shift pattern, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. The pattern will be 4 days on, and 4 days off. This role is not remote and the candidate will be required to be on-site at Hursley, Winchester for every shift.
- To handle incoming technical support incidents, requests and changes.
- Management of personal call queue, ensuring calls are closed in a timely fashion.
- Provide updates and ensure ongoing customer communication is maintained.
- Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex server queries.
- Escalation of calls to 3rd Line Team when necessary.
- To work as part of a close-knit and highly skilled team of engineers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Work with other internal teams (3rd Line Technical Delivery Teams, Development, Projects, etc.).
