Your new role
We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of internal technology projects.
Initially, this will include finance transformation, BI reporting enhancements, and software implementation initiatives, with responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed business outcomes.
Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party suppliers, you will take full ownership of project planning, governance, risk management, and reporting, while ensuring adherence to established IT delivery frameworks and controls.
What you'll need to succeed Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple IT projects and workstreams.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts.
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
Produce and maintain core project documentation, including RAID logs, governance reports, status updates, and budget tracking.
Lead project boards, steering groups, and governance meetings.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions as required.
Monitor project progress against milestones and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
Ensure all projects follow defined IT governance processes, approval gates, and control frameworks.
Support effective change management and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles.
Skills and experience Proven experience delivering IT projects within complex business environments.
Strong project planning, stakeholder management, and supplier management skills.
Experience managing software implementation, finance systems, or BI/reporting projects.
Excellent governance, reporting, and risk management expertise.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing project budgets, resources, and delivery timelines.
Familiarity with structured project delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or Waterfall.
