Your new company is a forward-thinking organisation based in Ashton-under-Lyne seeking an experienced Service Desk Manager to lead and develop their IT support function. Your new role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality IT support services across the organisation. You will lead a team of service desk analysts, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents and requests while driving service improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in a Service Desk Manager or IT Support leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management principles (ITIL desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive approach to service improvement and problem-solving
  • Driving Licence and ability to travel to another site in Greater Manchester as required
